The Flyway of Survival
They take their stance and prepare for flight.
They take a couple running steps.
One final leap and off they go.
Quickly, they fly and get in formation.
They make a V to save energy.
They point south and head for warmth.
They hover in the sky, barely moving.
They fly quickly.
Once they make it, they settle for winter.
When winter is over, they prepare again.
They take their course and head back north.
They return north in and begin breeding.
They feel the chill and know it’s time.
They get together and fly again.
Geese always on their flyways.
