Our Snowball Effect

You don't understand me;
You never did.
I thought we would find a way,
But I guess I was wrong.
The days get longer,
And my hope only shrinks.
Stress starts to mount,
But I can't deal with this now.
I'll find my own way,
And I know you'll find yours.
I saw the snowball form,
But you pushed it down the hill.
