Torn Apart
I don’t think you realize how you affect me
everyone else does though
I've found myself trying to hide from you
, but it tears me apart not to see you
Those three days last week when I didn't see you
it nearly brought tears to my eyes
I needed to see you, to know you were there
that last hour seemed so long, keeping us apart
In the last few minutes separating us
my anticipation grew so much
As I walked through the doors and saw you
my heart nearly exploding with the joy I work so hard to hide
Then I remember why you’re waiting there
,it’s not for me but for her.
Someone who doesn't deserve you,
but has you anyway and it has me torn apart
