My Mask's Reflection
I was stuck in a shadow,
  Lost within your past.
  I was all alone,
  Till I found my mask.
  With the mask on,
  The world cannot see.
  All the tears of mine,
  Hidden in misery.
  The world it shows,
  To me and me alone.
  A place within a dream,
  My heart’s forgotten zone.
  However the mask’s world,
  Is but a saddening lie.
  When I discovered this,
  My heart began to cry.
For I knew that the mask,
Was only trying to help me.
But you can’t help the hopeless,
  As anyone can see.
I wish this world was real,
  To become my reality.
  Maybe it can,
  If I change its morality.
  But to do this change,
  I must change myself.
  To make the world new,
  In and of itself.
