A high in the sky I know someone's watching over me 

Maybe just someone who I once knew

Or God making sure I do right

But for now let it be an angel

And angel to protect me on this night

Weather it protects me outside or in

I know it's always there

Yet somehow it still lays in the garden of heaven

The gift of grass and meadows and wildflowers all of there

Sometimes I hear my guardian angel sing to me

The echo of its endless lullaby makes me sleepy

As I slowly fall asleep I can almost feel it hold me 

Like an umbrella protecting me from the rain
