Frozen Sun and Melted Moon
  In the darkness of night
there was those sudden silken steps
like going up a stairs backwards
  In the dark,
paraded by pooled squadrons of moonlight
There’s that feel of a record
Playing underwater, sucked back and forth
By some natural and ungodly tide
and I sway like seaweed, but remain rooted in place
Replaying over, and over, and over again
  In the darkness of light
there was those sudden silken steps
  like sliding up a sidewalk
  on your side
  In the light,
paraded by pooled tankards of sun
  Theres that same sound, playing
over and over and over again
Till my heart is like a briny organ
Seaside symphony, orchestra played with grit and sticks
Replay, replay, over again and again
  In the darkness of darkness
There was those sudden silken steps
Like a map melted into the sea
And I was a fleet of planes
Falling, cascading fieriness from the sky
A paraded squadron of the dark.
