They say that diamonds are a girl’s best friend
I recently found out they’re not
The diamond I’m talking about can sometimes make you hurl
Girls dream about diamonds and tying the knot
Guys dream about hitting the long shot

The baseball diamond is a sanctuary for men
This sanctuary is none to get married in
This diamond kills you
And you still come back because you have the skill and will
This diamond is also free
That’s why diamonds are a man’s best friend
