The Old Child's Saying
Her name was Noelle
She was beautiful and feisty
Fight and fire
Was
That is the key word
She will never know how much light she brought to my world
How the way her bright red hair would flow in the wind and all I could think about was how much I wanted to be near her.
I never actually talked to her, never got see her up close…
If I had I’m sure I would have seen the bags under her eyes
The way her smile never fully reached her eyes
While she was beautiful and lit up my world like no other
They dimmed hers
She never told anyone what was going on
That they were tearing her apart
Not with stick and stones
but with those fatal words that weren't supposed to hurt her
In the end they did more than hurt.....
