She gave her love away
As if it wasn’t hers in the first plaace
Returning it to wrongful owners
Asking no reward nor grace
She threw her love away
Dropping bombs of psychological destruction
Hoping not to catch the reverberations
Of the aftermath of her obstuction
She begged for her love back
But there was nothing they could do
For they didn’t owe her anything
And sadly, this, she knew.
