When did rules apply to you?
When did teachers stop giving you stickers
And stopped being your friend?
When were you told to man up
And everything became your fault?
When did the bedtime stories stop
And the monsters moved out?
When did your cuts become unkissable
And people stopped wanting you as a friend?
When did your mom stop sending you notes with lunch
And become a rank amongst your peers
When did you first wish for the unattainable
Long lost innocence of
Youth

I loved the poem. Great job. It had so much feeling in it, and it simply touched my heart. Please give feedback on my poem "A Canvas with Heart." Thanks. :)

Wonderful poem. You gave me something to think about today. I always miss those days, when you didn't truly understand the world and every seemed so easy. Thanks for posting! :)
