In this world we live in, we are all mere visitors,
With passing time & thoughts endearing.
For today is just a speck of sand,
In the glass of time,
& the life we have is but a strand,
In a cloth of infinite twine.
The days we spend are fleeting,
& we all must understand…
That in spite of vigor & lust for fame,
We’re just scribbles in the sand.
This world will not remember us…
When we pass away,
But we remember one another,
On this very day.
I need not have my name in stone,
When my bones grow weak.
But for today my name is known,
& that’s enough for me.

This poem is about time, & birth, & death & liveing, losing, the whole ball game... How in the grand scheme of things we are specks of specks on the the immortal universe we play guest to. everyone on earth, no matter how young, old, wise or dumb is just a visitor, a passerby, nothing more, nothing less, & all visitors leave one day...

Super good! very philosophical and you obviously though about this, didn't just come up in a moment. My one critique, you used &. Always use the full word in professional writing. type out the word and. say five hundred not 500 you know? otherwise, I liked it.

I love this. It reminds me of "The wind and the Rain" by Robert Frost and an opinion piece I wrote, "Life is But a Vapor." Very concise yet well-written
