I forgive you for the envy
the green inside your eyes
the dishonestly that escaped your lips
the white inside your lies
I forgive you for leaving me
you gave up on me in every way
the pain that I feel endlessly
is as strong as it was that day
I forgive you for your temper
how you would scream and shout
and that first day in September
when your rough hands swung about
I forgive you for the heinous way, in which you would behave
you were my heart and soul- my one true lover
the only flaw I never forgave
was your choice to love another
