The Nightmare
She weeps in her sleep.
Tossing and turning,
fighting off the nightmare the best way she could.
The tears stream down her face then slowly disappear down her neck.
Beads of sweat covering her forehead as her auburn bangs stick to her face.
She whimpers, "Please don't hurt me."
Who is after her as she runs throught this unfamiliar forest?
Strange sounds in the night,
Wolves holwing with hunger,
Twigs breaking beneath her feet while she runs helpless, barefoot, alone.
"Don't fight it." echoes the night
With a dark chuckle as it pierces her ears.
She finally reaches a cliff.
Dead End.
Turning around to face whoever obviously wants her dead, she tursn too fast and falls.
Falls to her death...
But..
Never..
Reaches..
The bottom..

I have been having this reocurring nightmare of me running in the forest and falling off a cliff. I continue to fall in the darkness until I wake up.
