The Journalist
A literary soldier,
Armed with only a pen and his wits,
rapidly firing questions,
words spitting through like bullets.
Tearing through seemingly innocent quotes,
exposing the lies beneath them,
the malice within the print.
Removing the fabricated tapestry of deceit,
opening the blinded eyes.
Risking life and limb,
to reveal the truth in it's purest form.
Not for his own satisfaction,
but to avoid the corruption,
within his own heart.
