Silence is all I hear/ no words just silence
Words how little they mean/ except when they hurt
Hurt is all that I am/ all that I see
Darkness is the only thing visible to me

Nothing feels right/ nothing seems right
I look around the dark room/ my heart beats loudly
No one can see me/ nobody knows how to understand me
Its like I'm invisible/ it is like I don't exist

I ask myself: Should I be here?/ the answer in my head speaks no
The answer in my bodies motions is no
As I grab the pills/ I hear a voice in my head
I listen closely as I rub the tip of my fingers on the ridges on the lid of the pill bottle

What I hear is "It's not worth it trust me"/ then several minutes of silence
The voice continues
"think of those who care/ not those who hurt you
What would they do or think?"
