Two Birds, One Stone
March 17, 2015
Two birds
One stone
Falling
Dreaming
Abyss
Dark
Then light
Alone
Unscathed
Shudders
It flies away
And wakes up

I wrote this poem after the phrase "to hit two birds with one stone" came into my head. Then, I had the idea to write it so one could read it two ways; either the poem as a whole, or every other line, creating two new poems. So, the stone is my poem as a whole, and each bird is the new poem it can become.
