She is a beautiful sunflower.
No matter where the Sun goes, she still rises up for Her.
God blessed Tanzania,
With our golden Christina.
Who has Love written in her name.
She will grow up tall, and reach for our King.
She goes up, up, up and regrets nothing.
Everyday she tries her best,
Unlike the rest,
To walk alongside The Lord.
He shines down His everlasting Light.
And as It beams down, she pushes through without a fight.
Guiding her people,
To be under the wing of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I'm so proud of you! This is lovely!
My latest piece, 'Christina', was inspired by a child my family and I sponser through Compasson International.
Her name is Christina, and she is living in poverty somewhere in Tanzania, Africa. A place where they are having trouble protecting children's rights.
She's grown to be like a sister to me. A sister that I can't save on my own. That's why I rely on the work of The Lord to help her get through these tough times. Jesus is the only one who can save her.
Her relationship with God reminds me of a sunflower's relationship with the sun. She grows in His name, and I admire her just as I admire a sunflower. Not only for her external beauty, but for her internal beauty that makes her shine brighter than the sun to me.
Thoughts and prayers are always welcome and appreciated. :)
