light headed clumsiness

to cause my confused relief 

suddenly and nearly painfully 
my eyes gasped
it was mortifying reality
always and forever
was never to be
excruciating recognition 
fell upon the foggy chambers 
of my fatal mind

how dare I dream
so forbidden and desolate
only giving false hope
I felt a cold shiver 
provoke my still body
alone and used
I felt the adrenaline
of my pure minded contentment 
fade and disappoint me

I shook away the haunting sight
I banished from my mind
