Beautiful me

Beautiful
he told me
a real
work of art
i was his masterpeice
kept as a gallery
on his arm
until he noticed
the cuts on
my wrists
then he rubbed me
away
not caring what he
erased
he took his thumb
and furiously
he rubbed
and rubbed
and rubbed
away went my
pastels
off came my paint
he made sure
every inch of
me
fell
away
a colorful dust
today, he continues
to erase
making sure no
one can
re-create
his work of
art
he takes his canvas
and tears her
apart
tears me apart
and for some
reason....i let him
