Around the clock

Seconds, minutes, hours

pass us by

You cannot stop them

 

Tic Toc Tic Toc

You seem stuck 

Trapped in the past

As time painfully 

passes us by

 

The numbers change

One by one

Rip yourself loose

Free yourself

from the times passed

Free yourself

from the pain of the past
