they search the body
I used to slam on my bed
I used to hate before the mirror
they search the body
they search the old me
under the skin and bones
that cover my soul
they search the body
the strangest they said
but I wasn't strange at all
they search the body
but the bed is broken
and the mirror's shattered
I haven't changed my body
I have just changed
the old me
they search the old me
because now
they can't laugh at me
