A life full of clutter.
A life full of clutter
Full of gizmos and gadgets
the new rage for that day
a life full of warmth
full of laughter and tears
where lies movie tickets and gummy bears and
secrets whispered at twilight
among pieces of broken hearts
strewn all across the floor
you can try to sort it out,
the good and the bad
but alas, alas –
it's already there
a life full of love
flower petals now shriveled,
forgotten between
unread pages of books and love letters
do they really love you?
the petals fall out slowly...
perhaps, perhaps–
but - you already found out
too many starry eyed gazes ago
a life full of hurt
full of pain and despair
a new sunrise here,
a solemn sunset there.
the days march on,
while some others do not.
you can try, try, try,
and try to sort it out –
but it's a life full of clutter;
and it's yours to look back on
a life full of clutter
accumulating all that dust
a life full of clutter
full of memories and stuff.
