Of our lives
From the first moment, we mold.
The smooth ball placed into the care of our hands awaits us.
Some may mold a dove or sword, the forms differ by way of strokes, pulls and pounds.
A good teacher can guide a direct mold.
But those without, change the mold a thousand times,
Dependent on surroundings and experiences for the final shape.
Our creation forms with the gears of time.
Experience and knowledge bakes holes and cracks upon it,
But the content beneath the sculptural form does not change.
No matter our move, judgement will fall, by society or Holy Spirit.
Regardless, we own our sculpted form.
We are the creators,
the artists of our clay.
