That's Not My Name
Little DJ,
Little Dallas,
Little Doupnik,
I am not an extension of my brother.
Feelings, thoughts, goals and dreams,
All of which are my own.
Do one little thing and you’re categorized,
In this giant mess of a world,
You’re known by what you do,
How you look,
Not by who you are.
Little DJ,
Little Dallas,
Little Doupnik,
I thought you knew, I’m nothing like him.
I try hard at what I want--
I may not study,
But I get good grades.
I may not try sometimes,
But when I set my sights,
Wonderful things can be achieved.
Little DJ,
Little Dallas,
Little Doupnik,
That’s not my name.
