and i wanna fix you,
but it’s not easy like with tape or glue.
you’re chipped on the edges and
torn down the middle;
darling, you’re broken and
oh, how i wanna fix you,
and your cracked marble eyes,
and your porcelain heart,
but the mistakes are etched in sharpie,
and i can’t erase that.
