My bottled up feelings, wish to be free

The tears in my eyes, desire to be seen

I've been strong, sturdy like a tree

But now I'm weak, I've started to lean

The colours around me, have left my side

My eyes desperate to see them, have cried

To stop those tears, my heart has lied

Which saved my eyes before they died

Now at night, I sit in tranquillity

A little fire ,in front, dancing in glee

The blanket of darkness, flows like a sea

And covers everything around me

I sit beside that fire and look down

In the bright flames, my tears drown

The night overpowers, and the fire frowns

The glowing light turns into ashes brown

The darkness engulfs what is left of me

As my eyes again try hard to see

And my hands move, searching desperately

The door of happiness of which I've lost the key
