I stay up late
(Even though I know I shouldn't)
Just to think about what it would be like to have you hold me
I think about it all the time
Especially at 3 in the morning when I'm all bruised knuckles and red raw eyes
And the sunrise just seems so far away
Yet I sit up waiting for another day to miss you
Waiting for another day to see you get further away
