Illustrious
I want to be illustrious,
Admiration at my door,
But it does not come easily,
That is for sure.
Hard work and dedication,
I have been told,
Will make it all worth it
When you are making tenfold.
But it isn’t all monetary,
At least I would hope it is not,
Because success shouldn’t be measured in dollars,
But whether you can have happiness or not.
I believe success is about joy,
And happiness is the key for success,
So maybe happiness must come first,
And success will follow.
