Far Away Love

So this is what love feels like
To wait by the mail box everyday
Hoping to see another letter
Saying everything is ok
To have your emotions slung around in a blender
To be proud and strong
Yet weak and lonely
Relying only on letters
For your hearts true desires
To cry every night and write about only happy things
To want to feel those arms around you
But for them to be so far away
Going each day waiting for that one phone call
That never seems to come soon enough
Then sitting there alone...
Wondering when he will finally come home
