I am from sunbeat skin and freckle explosions,
Fake eyelashes and primped acrylic nails,
Cherry blossom lips and makeup that hides who I truly am.
—a girly girl.

I am from hikes that end in downpour and winged, bug infested bahiagrass,
Conversations with furry friends and walks through fairytale gardens,
peanut sized toes in natural springs and chasing hopping frogs,
—an indigo child.

I am from memories of Cocorosie's melancholic dreams, and visions of the last hike to Wally's special spot.
October 7th anniversaries and April 30th.
Bittersweet goodbyes   and
Baths that turn red.
—a lost soul trying to fight her mind.

I'm from Buddhist beliefs and meditating,
Finding joy in others happiness and pouring my heart out,
Seeking salvation in people and searching for my spirit guide.
—a believer of spirituality.

I'm from 2AM phone calls and 100,000 miles away,
My twin flame and my Disney Prince Charming,
Believing in true love and waiting for him.
— a romantic.

I'm from strong women and fire signs,
Beating my hands to a pulp and scrubbing floors,
Pulling myself up when I'm hit with wrecking ball's and continuing to walk my path.
— a resilient being.

I am a girly girl,
an indigo child,
And a lost soul trying to fight her mind.
I'm a believer of spirituality,
a romantic,
and a resilient being.
I am all of these things, because of where I'm from.
