Alarm Clock
My heart actually stopped.
It skipped a beat for a minute.
Why do I own things that don’t deserve existence?
It would not shut-up.
It was absolute madness.
This was definitely the worst thing on the planet.
It had buttons on buttons.
And would not lose the battle.
It’s obnoxious noises echoed through all levels.
It trapped red numbers inside it’s front screen.
5:40, 1;12, and 8:23.
It must be the devil.
I hit the delay,
and I thought I had put it to rest.
Until five minutes later when it went off again.

I wanted to spend the day attempting to experience everything with new eyes, as if I have never experienced it before.
