My Younger Self

i remember myself when i was young
splashing in puddles
the songs that i sung
the music i’d hear
the clothes i’d wear
my life was a canvas
as i painted on it
i’d grow and grow
my eyes were wide open
more things to know
so as i look back to my younger self
I cherish the memories
and say farewell
