Not All Wishes Fall From Stars MAG
The world disappeared, right under my feet.
It’s like asking me to fly without giving me wings.
Beyond the rainbow, among the golden wheat.
Letting go of balloons is different from cutting
the strings.
Ripples behind ghosts of a thousand towers.
The memories, the laughs, and the little things.
It’s like seeing lightning before hearing thunder.
Falling into the whirlpool of everlasting time.
A bird with a broken wing hidden under,
Trying to breathe, but losing the climb.
Ask a question, and only fire will emerge.
Remembering the past only makes it hurt.
Couldn’t stop the waves, war is meant to diverge.
Awaiting the shore, covered in dirt.
Expecting a diamond, but receiving a dagger.
Not all battle wounds become scars.
Flowers turn to dust, oblivion is after.
Not all wishes fall from stars.
