San Diego
Walking on sandy rocks
But first we stop to take off our socks
Small things move right below
Trying to hide trying not to show
We look through little spaces and cracks
Then we see them, we see their backs
Crabs.
So small and weak
We pick them up to take a peek
We put them down and watch them walk
They look around confused; they’re in shock
We laugh a little and put them down
We watch go back without a frown
After doing for about an hour
We go back home and take a shower
