I love you when you’re mad and you’re fighting the whole world,
Trying to live a life with some younger looking girl
I love you when you hate me and you make me feel alone,
As if I were nothing but your heart’s just getting cold
I love you when you kill me with every single word,
Bestowing the blame on me, while I remain unheard
I love you when you try so hard to break me like a twig,
Hurting me with song and making my head spin
I love you now, as I loved you then,
No word, no weapon, no pen
Can make me unlove you ever again
