Night is fear personified
In the night all things cower
All jump and squirm and search
For creatures we sense
But cannot see
Lurk always just out of sight
In the only unlit corner
And the quiet moments between songs
Night becomes the monsters,
The horrors and the pain
Creeping
Creeping
Creep away
Just to return again.
