My Heart Is
November 3, 2015
my heart is
a warm lump of irreversible pain that feels and
bleeds and breaks and beats and loves
which
caused bruising and aching.
Words thrown like stones that have been
carved and polished to pierce
even if i
slow down and the pulsing rhythm ceases
to make music I will know that my heart
was put to good use by
loving you.
