Astronaut's Paradise

Craters cover
sand,
imprints of
shallow
steps scattered
over the
broken edges
of
paradise.
The silence
leaving a
mark of
eerie
improbability
over the
salted dust
and
cold waves of
ashy bluehues
raining
onto my
soul.
Distorted
thoughts
leaping
from each
quadrant
of my
adventure-bounded
heart is left
behind
on an
unknown rock
of utopian dreams...
