What Its Like to be a White Girl (for those who aren't)
It’s being called,
Hipster,
Basic,
Typical,
Pale,
It’s struggling to get a tan
It’s quoting every scene of “Mean Girls”
And being asked if you take selfies constantly,
It’s Starbucks Coffee,
Particularly, the Pumpkin Spice Latte
It is owning an iPhone,
And wearing Uggs and black tights
Its screaming to the though of spiders, snakes, and roaches.
Saying “I can’t even” and “literally”
It's using Tumblr
And Pinterest
And having boy bands like “One Direction” on your playlist
But most importantly,
Loving yourself for who you are.
