Teenager
I am not all of society
I am not like the rest.
Do not compare me to them anymore.
My self-esteem is gone.
I have no self-worth
" You are antisocial."
I've tried to talk to others
but you take them away
"you are oblivious to the world."
I know and have seen more than you think.
My thoughts have become mean.
My mind becomes empty.
My heart is gone,
eyes dull,
feeling dreary,
wrists bloody.
Trying to numb the pain
I will never be the same.
They are cruel
Society is wrong
But it is now too late.
She can't escape,
crying at night,
not much sleep.
On the outside she smiles,
on the inside she is yelling.
theres no one left to care for
I have taken it all away,
and they gave me the power.
She cuts to control
her thoughts and feelings,
But I make sure they come back.
She deserves happiness;
however, thats not my job.
She is scared and frantic.
The blood is out.
"They don’t care" is what I tell her.
She quits fighting,
for we both know I have won.
The fight is over, as the doctor
tells her parents, "there's no coming back."
You killed her
okay maybe it was me, but it was also you.
This is the indelible moment.
