Maybe One Day.
Hi, Dad, It’s me.
Maybe one day you will see
how bad you are hurting me.
While I’m here crying,
all you’re doing is lying.
It is sad to say.
I don’t get why it has to be this way.
How do you do what you do?
Maybe one day you will see
and I wont have to think of you as an absentee.
Some say “It’ll be okay,” I just think,
“Maybe one day.”
I don’t know what it takes,
you’ve already had a break.
When I think about you
I just shake.
I want you back in my life,
I’m not gonna beg twice.
I’m tired of being nice.
All the times I wanted a call
You still weren't there
not there at all.
I thank Mom everyday
for everything she does for me.
Everyday,
I wish it wasn't this way.
Maybe one day you will see
I don’t want anything.
Just your love and care.
