Tears are made of broken dreams
And broken hearts that cannot be fixed
Tears are made of shattered souls
Twisted psyches that have been bewitched
Tears are made of forgotten plans
Liars weaving plausible tales
Tears are made of rejected children
Of stormy nights and gusty gales
Tears are made of cancer cells
And coffins lowered in the ground
Tears are made of stillborn babes
Tearducts finally breaking down
