The donut rides,
The thick gooey atmosphere,
I remember back,
Scared of donuts and the effect,
It is so funny how past insecurity just flies away when you tame it,
How anxiety can do such a wonder,
The thick gooey center,
The autumn glaze,
Funny how one donut can symbolize one thing forever.

My dad asked me to right him a poem about a donut when we were happily enjoying donuts at Dunkin. This reminded me about everything I thought about in that moment and that is how this became!
