Imaginary Lane

As the leaves fluttered on,
The trees turned their necks,
The wind following up,
The six hour drive,
Right on to imagination lane,
The queen that came her horns and fangs,
I saw the leaves close to an end,
A thump,
A sound,
An ax hitting the ground,
I pull my eyes back in strain,
Took me a minute to realize,
It was all in my brain.
