A Hunger to Survive--The Escape to America

The plains stretched like oceans.
The mountains snow covered and pristine.
The wildlife ruling with power.
A land yet to be disturbed.
From the north comes change.
Man’s search for food is ceaseless.
The first mammoth falls.
A land in transition.
Slowly new empires rise.
Life is made easier.
Harmony finds a way.
The land is won.
A new conquered continent.
Ruled so long, time forgets.
A new cycle of life begins.
The land is developing.
Peace cannot last and so the next phase begins.
