I fit quietly into my life

Done with pleading for my freedom,

I wait

Silent

I don't say a word

Come home, curl up and wit

Speak only virtually

Do my chores, sit, and wait

For freedom

I have no way to escape

I'm done struggling,

Fighting

Kicking never got me anywhere

I sit and wait
