Souls dull and fall
cascading like leaves
curling in on themselves.
Souls crackle and break.
Fragments blown about;
Parts of a whole no longer;
seemingly without a reason.
Souls break not on accident.
For like leaves,
a stronger one grows in its place
all for the prosperity of the tree.
