Seasons
Fluttering wings
Touch the sky
Kissing the long, bright days goodbye
Landing on a leaf
Once green and bright
Darkened to a murky color of night
Crunching with the weight
It sags and droops
Before falling into small, spiraling loops
Floating through crisp, cool air
It is blown past brown towers gnarled with age
Before settling infront of withered sage
Flakes of white touched the leaf with fingers quite cold
The leaf reflecting on days
Before it was old
