Trying my best
I may not be a soldier, but I am brave and courageous.
I may be crazy, but I am still as sane as you are.
I may be weak, but I have a strong threshold on life and in Jesus.
I may not be blind, but I don’t always see what you see; but I try my best to see your perspective.
I may be scary, but I am a gentle beast.
I may be meaner than my demons, but I am nice to you.
I may make kids cry, but I never meant to.
I may be in control, but on the inside I am lost; and I try my best to keep control.
I try my best for you.
