I am a dog

I am a dog who’s constantly on the run.
I’m told to sit, but I see a squirrel and my attention is gone.
I am a dog whose curiosity is endless,
and the little things in life are those that amaze me the most.
I am a dog who is dormant while the house is vacant,
and keeps the house awake when there’s a guest, when I’m hungry, when I’m bored.
